What’s it like being brown and queer in today’s America? Well, for me it sucks a lot, but it has its glorious moments. NBD, no big deal. To be honest, I’m still figuring stuff out, and since I’m extra #AF I decided to create a podcast so everyone can listen in while I explore what it’s like being a large, fabulous, (former) Texan, Chicano, queer, non-binary person living in a white dominated country.

Surviving Conversation Therapy - Tor y Roger
In this episode, Tor chats with Roger Sanchez, an advocate for the banning of conversion therapy in the United States. Roger himself is a survivor from this practice and he shares his story to help bring awareness to the issue. Currently, only 19 states have laws protecting the LGBTQIA community from conversion therapy and it is commonly practiced in the United States more than one would think.
