It took you months to build up the courage to say at least “hi” to someone you like without feeling like a heart attack is imminent or you might spend a while in a critical unit with minimal recovery.
You’ve practiced in front of the mirror a few times now, avoided many eye contact here and there from your secret favourite person: “hi, I’d like to take you out for lunch or dinner.” 💭Oh no, that’s boring. Maybe cliché.🤔
We all have way too many awkward starters that left us immobilised with rejection and probably heartbroken.
