The Dojo S10E19 - Summer
On the eve of the #TheDojoSummerParty we begin by catching up and asking ourselves if hosting an event changed how we look and think about events. We then give our opinions on the Jub Jub interview and the subsequent reactions to it. We at length give our thoughts on the man and speculate over the Amanda Du-Pont video. We move on to ponder on media platforms, the responsibilities if any they bare. We close off the Pod with a look back at the season and extend some well deserved thank you's and shout outs.
The Dojo S10E18 - Red Eye Ft Kash & Vinyl T
On this episode of the #TheDojo, Kash and Vinyl T from The No Hidden Agenda Podcast step in for Dez and Thabang. The guys kick things of musing on The Dojo events then get things going pondering on the new covid variant, vaccine mandates, why a large number SA'n are antivaxx and if things would ever go back to normal.
The fella's then segue into conversation on work life balance, kids being work place inconveniences and toxic managers.
The guys move on into a conversation on growth, outgrowing SM and societal pressures. They touch on working on relationships, desirability politics, teaching kids confidence and the word "grootman" is broken down.
The fellas round off the pod with a chat on the differences in the career elevation between blacks and whites, Kash enlightens us between the differences between Zimbabwe and South Africa.
The Dojo S10E17 - Activism
On this episode of #TheDojo we kick things off with us dissecting the conversations around the backlash received by Kabelo Mabalane over his involvement in a gender based violence initiative which seeks to get perpetrators to get help. This segues into Mo explaining how entrenched patriarchy is in our society and how slow moving the needle is in changing societal mindsets. We move on to discuss the Sizwe and Unathi work dispute over lies of verbal abuse levelled against Sizwe by Unathi. We briefly touch on the use of connections, nepotism to advance in light of a viral clip of Natasha Thahane. We round off the Pod by chewing over the notion that black SA women are "stuck" with black men because of the idea that no other race wants them, which leads us into a conversation on the dynamics that hinder interracial dating in SA.
The Dojo S10E15 - I Don't F.W. You
On this episode of #TheDojo, with Thabang absent, we kick things off with a brief catch up of what we got up to during the week. We move on to deliberate about the legacy of apartheid president FW de Klerk, we attempt to contextualize his contributions to his "people" and the suffering inflicted to the majority black population of SA due to him being a leader in Apartheid SA. We ponder momentarily the issue of Miss SA attending the Miss Universe competition in Israel and we exchange views around our understanding of the conflict in the Middle East. We discuss girlfriend allowances and muse over the monies women receive from men and the expectations on both sides, that may arise from such arrangements. We advise a listener whether they should inform their partner when they get hit on by people in their partner's circle. We round off the pod chewing over a listener provided scenario around a stepfather dealing with a biological dad who was absent, now wanting to be present in their child's life.

We move on to comment on the video of Uncle Waffles that recently had social media speculating on the circle she keeps and how vulnerable to various kinds of mistreatment or abuse she is in the entertainment industry. We answer a listener provided question and give tips on how to spend responsibly or ways one can avoid spending recklessly during the December holidays. We round off the pod speculating if indeed the "father side" of a family is the most problematic.
