Most of us get started on YouTube with one of these 2 goals. Either we want to create and post regular content expecting that someone will find the information entertaining/useful (or) we simply document the journey. If your efforts are in for reason number 1, then organic traffic is our dream come true and many of us hope that the YouTube algorithm works in our favour.

Hello and welcome to my channel, this is your host JagV. Today’s video is about a YouTuber who grew his subscriber base from 7k subs to 3 million subs within a few months. His channel has 4.5 million subs and 58 videos as I make this video Today.

YouTubers who’re just starting up try organic and paid experiments in many ways with a hope to gain lots of subscribers. But this youtuber gained subscribers in a most unique way I have ever heard. I felt like sharing this story that I recently stumbled up on.

His Niche is making slime and a personal vlog.

Slime videos are big on instagram. I’m not sure if he was aware before getting into the hot niche. I’m guessing his audience might be predominantly kids.

He is around 73 years old and has millions of followers on YouTube. Although I do not understand the language he speaks, it was delightful to see the videos he made.

What was most unique of him is the way he thanked his subscribers. He lists their names on a piece of paper and reads them out on video, one-by-one. This is the key differentiator. His subs went up from a few thousands to Millions in a short span of time.

He also documents his life, shows around his garden, shows what he ate for breakfast and other snippets from his personal life. One cannot help but smile.

Some say he’s Portuguese, some say he’s Brazilian. The language is no barrier. He sure sends out a powerful message. Be kind, do something you love, share your journey.

If you were dreaming on becoming a YouTuber, this man is certainly an inspiration.

I wish you best in your YouTube journey.
