If we only trust Him, He will save us. He'll forgive us- He'll have an inheritance for us in Heaven that will not fade away. --Mephibosheth was ruined, he was rescued, he was received and restored, and he was released. David extended grace to Mephibosheth because of David's friendship with Jonathan. God extends grace to us because of Jesus.

Pastor Randy concluded his Beginnings- Genesis Sermon Series with the message titled -Should I Stay or Should I Go--- from Genesis chapter 12. -1. Abraham's father was Terah.-2. Abraham's faith was demonstrated by his trusting of God even when the future was uncertain.-3. God promised Abraham- -o I will make you into a great nation.-o I will bless you.-o I will make your name great.-o All nations on earth will be blessed through you.-4. The last promise was fulfilled in the person and work of Jesus Christ--5. By faith, even Sarah... -considered him faithful who had made the promise.--6. God has prepared a place for those who trust in Him.

Randy's Beginnings- Genesis Sermon Series sermon was titled -Worship or Idolatry--- from Genesis chapter 11. We learned about the connection between the Tower of Babel and Pentecost. -1. Shinar - Babylon.-2. Tar - pitch - covering.-3. -Make a name for ourselves- - humanism.-4. The people disobeyed God's command- Be fruitful and fill the earth.-5. Many scholars believe that Nimrod is the founder and leader of the Tower of Babel.-6. Babel means confusion.-7. Babylon was the seat of astrology and idolatry.-8. Paganism originated in Babylon with the Mother-Child cult.-9. Pentecost was the reversal of Babel.-10. Shem's line continued through the patriarch Abraham.
