🌊About Information travels in seconds across the internet and Ripple is applying those same attributes to money. SWIFT is the current global standard for sending remittances, but it’s an outdated messaging system that doesn’t include settlement. Ripple provides a near instant money settlement system for financial institutions that removes the need for those institutions to prefund in destination countries. That alone is a billion-dollar problem.  XRP truly is a revolutionary digital asset as it represents the opportunity to own a piece of the internet of value. You may have invested into dot com companies from 1995-2001, buying shares in companies like Amazon and Ebay, but you didn’t have an opportunity to buy into the internet protocols themselves, whereas with XRP you can buy into it, owning a fraction of this value transfer protocol that other companies will build systems and applications on top of.  This video essay is a fair assessment of Ripple and the digital asset XRP. Let it be known that Ripple is a software company that utilises XRP, the open source distributed ledger technology. As much as I believe this is the best investment anyone today could ever own, just like with any investment, you still need to Do Your Own Research (DYOR).
