Video Gaming Killed My Son
In 2001, Liz Woolley did not know that video gaming could take her son's life, but that is exactly what happened. Hear her heart-wrenching story of how Shawn went from a normal happy boy to an isolated, depressed, and distraught young man without hope. After this horrifying tragedy, Liz, who was a member of numerous 12-Step organizations, started a 12-step fellowship for video game addicts (OLGA) followed by OLG-Anon, a group for family members, loved ones, and friends. Outreach, a community for those who inform and reach out to others was formed later. She has been on the Dr. Phil Show, 48 Hours, CBC Market Place, Fox Nation's Deep Dive, and NPR Radio and interviewed by numerous major print publications. Liz's career was in Information Technology for 30 years. She has four children and nine grandchildren. Her book with Shawn's story, "Your Son Did Not Die In Vain," is available on Amazon.com.
