How much black is BLACK enough?
My first time in JFK, I had lost my way. So I was happy when I saw a black dude. I walked up to him and said, “baba, howfa?” The next thing I heard was, “watchu saiying dawg!” It was at this point that I knew that black is different from black. This podcast dissects some of my concerns between the African and black culture. I also talked about representation and stereotypes.
