 No that is not meant to be a Clickbait title, but it's meant to get your attention. Yes today is a holiday, a religious commemoration, remembrance, and maybe a celebration.  And the event that the holiday is all about has shocked and bothered millions of people for centuries and still does.
So let me tell you what the holiday is and what it's about, and then that there just might be for you and me some lessons that we should learn.  Some of you will be upset where it leads me and others will be in full agreement.
But indeed I hope that most of us will agree that we really should not be killing children anymore.  So here is the story and here is the challenge in about 16 minutes.

No that is not a trick question. It really happened and she really did. And of course there's a story. Quite a fascinating and moving story.
But it came out of a sales and marketing strategy that I developed for men and women who were in the financial services business helping people with the financial planning insurance and investment, and perhaps planning for their estate and everyone's eventual passing.
It was a story question and it was... What in your treasure chest that you will be passing on to those you love and care for after you are gone?... And one of the ultimate questions, how do you want to be remembered.
And as one of my heroes who recently passed said, if you don't know the answer to that question you really don't know what to do when you get up in the morning.  But that's another story and I think you'll enjoy this one,

It goes back to June 10, 1935 in Akron Ohio.  Two men hopelessly addicted to booze tried to figure out how they could get sober.  A famous preacher in New York City also got involved in their lives and help them figure out in many ways how to live the life that would not be destroyed.
Right now many of you, and some of you very deeply, know what I'm talking about. Yes this is the birthday of AA, and for sure it saved the lives and continues to save the lives of millions of people.
I have two stories that I would like to tell you about AA as part of our program plan to celebrate and help people achieve transformations in their life in business today and for tomorrow.  
So please join me for 15 minutes and let me tell you the stories and perhaps you also can give thanks and congratulations not only to the organization and the movement but perhaps there's someone you know dearly. 
 Let them know how proud you are of them and that you celebrate with them ... And you will also learn that there's a good possibility that all of us are addicted to something.

It's June 6. 80 years ago today thousands of soldiers sailors and others stormed the beaches of Normandy in France to begin the invasion that ultimately would destroy the Nazi empire and bring it into the second world war in Europe after millions upon millions of people had died, suffered, and had their lives ruined.
 I have walked through that bloody battlefield and so may I share some of my stories about that experience of being on the beach. I have a very personal story about a man in my family connection who was very much involved in all that happened through that horrible war. He became a good friend and I was able to help him tell his story which was an incredible story indeed.
So please take about 15 minutes for me to tell you the story and then perhaps suggest some things that we can do and better understand as we live our lives in these trouble times today,

No the title is not click bait. But of course I'm trying to get your attention so that you might take a time out and actually listen.

But my friend that is what all of us are trying to do all the time in life and business today. We are trying to get people to listen.
So if I have your attention, I believe I have some interesting ideas in terms of what Donald Trump should do if he gets what could be an extraordinary sentence. 

There are people who are asking for him to go to jail for a long time. The problem is that in New York we've got muggers thugs and all kinds of other bad people who are never sentenced to jail.
And his conviction is being appealed, and there's a good chance that the decision of the court that convicted him and pronounces a sentence on him, will be over turned. But who knows.
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,was also charged with crimes, and he was put in jail. By the way so was Saint Paul, the great Christian apostle
If I were his coach, I would have some tough and perhaps effective counsel for helping him deal with the situation, and maybe even turning it into a positive for him and a detriment to his opponents.
Some of the same advice might be helpful for you in difficult situation's today. So now let me assure you that it's worth your time to listen to my story.

Well did they do something that will have very strong negative things for them, or did they position themselves to win the election.  No matter how you feel about him or about the conviction Donald Trump is there.

But the question is, what is there> it's obviously a big deal that the Democratic Party has engineered and it's obvious that that is the case no matter what your feelings.  The Democrats would never have done this to anybody else but Trump and they did it to him once they discovered he was going to run for office again.  So it is political.

And anyone who claims that they know what will happen is foolish including me. And I don't know what will happen so I'm not foolish because I am not saying. However as a long time business performance coach I can help him identify his options and they would be big time consequential options.  

Guess what!  The rest of the year is going to be testing times and there's a very good chance that this year you are going to face some big time consequential options too.
