04 TSC May 24 Kumasi | In My Name

The Scriptures tell us of the wondrous things that we will do or cause to happen in the Name of Jesus. How will these things be? It cannot be that we just shout 'In the Name of Jesus' and things happen. If you have tried it before, you have evidence of the low success rate of this gesture. In ourselves, we are weak against what is fighting us. What then do the Scriptures mean, and how can we come out of our troubles “in the Name of Jesus”?

In this series, Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches on the Lord's relentless loving kindness (mercies). He demonstrates how to access it, and how in His name, we can win our battles against the enemy.

In this episode titled, “In My Name”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter shares the true meaning of doing things in the Name of Jesus; meaning, to relinquish your will to Him and to rely absolutely on His strength to conquer in the warfares of life. He talks about how the Lord moves to calm us within, so we can be at peace even in our troubles. This is the state in which the Lord can move to defeat our enemies.

This message will help you turn your attention to the grace of the Lord that is working within you and to trust in His immeasurable strength, instead of focusing on your troubles which make you afraid.

At any point in our efforts to take hold of our inheritance in the Lord (the Divine Human), we go through the process of either repentance or glorification. In repentance, we cooperate with the Lord to shun evils in our hearts, while in glorification, we cooperate with the Lord by acknowledging His provision in the Divine Human for our sake. What ought to be our attitude both in repentance and in glorification?

He further illustrates what it truly means to identify with the Lord (participate in the Lord’s death and resurrection), both in repentance and in glorification.

Beloved, you must insist on your inheritance, knowing that all that you require for life has been reserved in the Lord, for your sake.

    Those Who Obey Him

    Those Who Obey Him

God is Love: He is in a perpetual endeavor to do good to all men. All of His provision is inherent in His love. Certainly, God yearns for every man to come to the place of faith where he can receive all the benefits His love offers. But how can man come into the true knowledge and experience of God’s love for him?

In this message, "Those Who Obey Him", Pastor Jeffrey Walter expounds how obedience is man’s surest way to know and experience God’s love. He sheds more light on the benefits of obedience, specifically in the area of money. He further explains the heavenly principles a believer should adhere to with regards to the use of money.

“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it”. (Proverbs 10:22 KJV)

The deceitfulness of riches surely blinds a man from experiencing the bliss of the eternal riches the Lord gives. Beloved, do not be deceived! You cannot know and trust the Lord as your true source of wealth, if you do not obey His specific instructions on how to use money.

You too can know the love of God in this regard: Only Obey!

Note: This message is a follow-up to “Abide In My Love.” Kindly listen to that as well for a complete understanding.

17“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”
