Today we take a look at how the state of Virginia qualifies athletes to their outdoor state track and field meet.
*Fun Fact: Virginia uses a three round qualification for their state meet series (District->Regional->State) and scores the top 6 places for District and Regional but scores top 8 places at the state meet! -

*Fun Fact: After the state meet, Vermont coaches host a Decathlon state meet with nearly 100 athletes for boys and girls. Both boys and girls do the DECATHLON! -

*Fun Fact: While Utah athletes do get the opportunity to compete in the Javelin event at the state meet, they do not get the opportunity to compete in the Triple Jump! -
