The most notable similarities between childhood and adulthood include the ongoing human needs for learning, play, and social interactions. Childhood and adulthood clearly represent distinct stages of human development.
Childhood covers the age between 2-17 years old for women and 2-20 years old for men. Adulthood, on the other hand, starts when the person reaches maturity and that's 18 years old for women and 2 years old for men. … Whereas the adults, are more dependent on themselves alone.

As a University student, you essentially have free rein over how you want to spend your day, every day. It can be challenging to manage things on your own but also exciting as you begin to figure out who you are or who you want to be. University is the time when you realize your independence, mature (a little), learn invaluable lessons and begin to identify your own personal values and beliefs.
