How can you be a good thinker? Well, it doesn't happen by accident.You need to make an argument that is good, valid (following the rules of logic) and soun (with truthful premises).You can do it starting with more specific thinks and work to general conclusions (inductive reasoning) or work from the general claims to the specific (deductive reasoning).Be aware of fallacies! There are many fallacies that are spewed out by the world (and sometimes by our own lips, yikes).

Education! Here's the name of the game.There's a lot of goals for education, but let's be different and say that human flourishing is the top goal towards which all the other elements of education aim.What is human flourishing? Doing what is unique to humans with excellence, aka, using our intellect and knowledge with excellent. Therefore, maximizing our wisdom and our moral character. That's the point, and then we spend the rest of the podcast flushing that out.
