A choir conductor in the Church of St Alphonsus, Rev often comes across as bright and cheerful. Behind that cheerful spirit, is a man who struggles with a fully-disabled spouse, and a son who has mild autism. Rev is currently living alone in Singapore to support his family back in the Philippines. He shares his hidden journey.

Hilda is a full-time caregiver to her husband, Patrick, who has had to have his legs amputated due to diabetes, and also needs dialysis because of kidney problems. Both of them recently recovered from Covid-19. Hilda shares how she keeps faith in God despite her daily struggles.

Patricia recently went for spine surgery, and contracted Covid while recovering in hospital. She shares how her faith saved her, and propelled her to get better, against all odds. She also shares a song she wrote for Jesus during this ordeal.

Juianna is a widow who lost her husband, Patrick, to lung cancer 3 years ago. She shares her struggles, as well as how she tries to be a light for other widows.

Katy is a breast cancer survivor. She shares about her spiritual life, including how she is motivated to read God’s word every day, and live it out in her life.
