BUDDHA BEATS The Engineer

This mix was inspired by the DJs I got to see this past weekend (April 20th) in Los Angeles. They really had the floor eating out of the palm of their hands. It had me thinking the whole way back to my hotel, and again on the way back to Philly. So, I when I got behind my own decks, I immediately started recording. This mix is a result of just going for it. There are four of my own tracks in here, and are surrounded by some sweet tracks.

Episode 89 is a 90 minute, blistering ride through the heavier and harder facets of the techno genre. When I made this, my head was clear, I had had enough sleep, and I was excited to do my absolute best. I honestly feel that this is one of my best mixes thus far. Mainly, because I took the time to get it right. Not like I didn’t for the others I’ve done, but I am extremely proud of this one. I hope you’ll agree!
