    The Harrassment of The Wackers

    The Harrassment of The Wackers

In Stark County Ohio from 1984 until 1993, an elderly couple named Bill and Dorothy Wacker suffered endless harassment, threats and attacks by an unknown party. Their house was burglarized, Dorothy was attacked twice, they received disturbing phone calls, and rocks with messages on them were thrown at the house. Despite police surveillance and covert surveillance by the Wackers and their children, nobody was ever caught for these crimes.
How did the perpetrator or perpetrators evade capture? Was it someone close to Bill and Dorothy? Was it a total stranger? Or…was it Bill and Dorothy themselves?
Mark and Amy take you to rural Ohio to investigate this bizarre case of almost a decade of torment against this ordinary couple.

    The Abduction of Angela Hammond

On the night of April 4, 1991, Angela Hammond, a 20-year-old from Clinton, Missouri, vanished while conversing with her boyfriend, Rob Shafer, on a pay phone. Recounting her encounter, she mentioned a suspicious man in a green pickup truck circling the block, who eventually stopped next to her, prompting her to scream and drop the phone. Shafer rushed to the scene, but his attempt to chase the pickup resulted in damaging his car’s transmission. Initially suspected by the police, Shafer was later exonerated when witnesses corroborated his account and provided details about the truck’s sightings.

    The Murder of a Whistleblower

    The Murder of a Whistleblower

In 1984, Frontera Prison Guard, Jesslyn Rich, vanished after a night out with friends. She later was found murdered. Three years later, prison guard Betty Thompson was on duty in the infirmary. An inmate, Terry Lucas, told Betty she had information on Jesslyn’s murder. The next day, she was found dead in her cell, and Betty started receiving threats at work and at home. Were these three incidents connected somehow? Did it have to do with the extensive amounts of corruption at Frontera?
Mark and Amy take you to Orange, California to investigate corruption, harassment, threats, abductions and murder within the prison system. Will we find answers?

    What Happened to Michael Francke?

In 1980, Prison Director Michael Francke was brought into the New Mexico prison system to investigate several prison riots taking place that left 33 dead. He completely reformed the system in New Mexico. In 1987, the Governor of Oregon asked him to take over their troubled prison system. Just days after telling his family that he was about to unleash the bombshell that would rock the entire system, he was stabbed to death near his car in front of his office. A man named Frank Gable was quickly tried and convicted of Francke’s murder. However, today, he is a free man who’s charges were dismissed with prejudice. So, who killed Michael Francke, and why?
