LEARN POLISH WITH ONE SONG OF ŚWIETLIKI. ADVANCED POLISH PODCAST

This podcast is ONLY in Polish for advenced learners. You will learn 6 words with this podcast: 1. sprawny 2. dziewczę 3. czuły 4. wisieć 5. ksiądz 6. czuły About the band and the song Świetliki were made in 1992. It is difficult to classify their music. They have had many successes, combining alternative music and poetic song. They are a band in which one can feel anarchistic-punk kilmas. The lyrics are written in the band by Marcin Świetlicki, who does not actually sing, but melorecites. Phrases from Świetliki's songs have entered the dictionary, for example "jestem w nastroju nieprzysiadalnym", "robisz mi nieporządek w chaosie". Świetlicki is a great poet, one of the most important poets in post-communist Poland. The concerts of Świetliki are often attended by the readers of his poems, and the author's meetings with Świetlicki and his books are frequented by Świetliki's admirers. The song "Filandia" from 2005 was a success. It is sung by Bogusław Linda, a well-known actor and you can hear it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCo7Wn7Gz6M&t=30s In my podcast you can hear the song from the concert of Świetliki in Kraków in 2019. It is different from the original. Świetliki often plays with the lyrics and changes them depending on what is currently happening in Poland. Enjoy:) Justyna from Polish For You Do you have questions, wishes, or maybe you want to sing in Polish in my podcast? Write to me kontakt@polishforyou.eu Music in this podcast: 1. LEARN POLISH WITH ONE SONG OF BRATHANKI. ADVANCED POLISH PODCAST

This pocast is only in Polish for advenced learners.  You will learn 6 words with this podcast: 1. marudzić 2. szlochać 3. dzielnie 4. wartki, wartka, wartkie 5. strumień 6. wart, warta, warte Take a vocabulary test and learn with memory cards, you can download them here:  https://polishforyou.eu/2020/07/08/polski-z-piosenka-w-kinie-w-lublinie-brathanki/ About the band and the song The Brathanki band has existed since 1998, but it was most successful at the beginning of the 21st century, when Halinka Mlynkova joined the band. Poles loved this talented and beautiful Czech woman. Her cooperation with Brathanki did not last long (the artist is currently performing solo), but was fruitful and spectacular. It was a time of music in Poland looking for roots (Golec uOrkiestra, Kayah&Bregović); the Brathanki mixed pop with rock for a folk note. The Polish people liked it madly. The song "W kinie, w Lublinie" (2000) is a dynamic, decisive and energetic piece, whose text is based on a simple idea. It is an enumeration of firm requests for (po)darling, and an ideal opportunity for Polish learners to grind the locativ. LEARN POLISH WITH ONE SONG OF MIKROMUSIC

Cześć w podcaście 100% po polsku!  What is the subcject of the song of Mukromusic? You will learn also with my podcast this vocabulary:  chcieć się, lecz, obiecywać sobie, powstać z popiołów, rzucać perły przed wieprze. You can find a test for a song on the blog of Polish For You: https://polishforyou.eu/blog/ You can hear and watch "Tak mi się nie chce" of Mikromusic here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwABO_wB2fw Who among us hasn't heard a song with words like by my sexy girl, you are so sexy etc? Natalia Grosiak, singer of Mikromusic and author of the lyrics "Tak mi się nie chce" told in one of the interviews, that once she was driving a car and switching radio stations, she had an impression that she was still listening only about how sexy she should/should be. She thought she just doesn't want to be sexy, she doesn't want to be sexy. Being sexy is time consuming work, constant effort, concentrating on yourself under constant pressure. How can you achieve this if you don't feel like it, have the strength and the feeling that it doesn't make too much sense? Maybe just fuck it up, like in this song? Watch the video, it's not obvious!  Well played by professional actors, sad, but it puzzles and forces you to ask questions. Like so many other Mikromusic songs. The strength of this band lies in its calmness, in its undemonstrating provocation. You turn on their music and you think it's so quiet, but the lyrics don't let us silence them at all, they often make it impossible. Enjoy Polish with Mikromusic!
