Midweek, let’s consider the rest that Jesus offers. Unlike the burdens the world places upon us, His yoke is easy and His burden light. This invitation to learn from Him—a teacher who is gentle and humble—promises not just external relief but deep, soul-level rest. Embrace this gentle guidance in your daily endeavors

Proverbs 4:23 - "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."

This might mean choosing uplifting media, engaging in edifying conversations, or spending more time in prayer and Scripture study.

Isaiah 40:31 - "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." 

As we start another week, let's anchor our hope in the Lord. Proverbs 19:21 - "Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails." 

As we end this week, let’s consider the plans we make and align them with God’s purposes. While we may have many ideas and desires, ultimately, submitting to God’s sovereign plans brings peace and assurance that His will is best.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
