06: Dr. Daniel Clinchot MD - OSUCOM Vice Dean for Education, Curricular Innovator + PM&R Physician Who We Are & Why We're Here

Dr. Daniel Clinchot is a licensed physiatrist working as the Vice Dean for Education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He additionally serves as the Inaugural Chairperson for the Department of Biomedical Education & Anatomy. After completing his medical doctorate at the SUNY Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York, Dr. Clinchot went on to pursue a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University, where he has remained ever since. His clinical specialty was in serving the traumatic brain injury + Ohio prison population, as well as in performing electrodiagnostic procedures. He has also served in roles within OSU Medical Humanities, as the PM&R Residency Program Director, and as the Associate Dean for Medical/Clinical Education. He is immensely passionate about mentorship, personal + professional development, and medical education/curriculum development - and I am so thankful for our conversation + all the work that he does for us at OSUCOM.
