Scott is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with almost 23 years of active-duty service. He spent nearly 18 years in Army Special Forces (Green Berets) with tours throughout Central and South America, along with three combat tours in Afghanistan. 
He is the founder of Task Force Pineapple, which has enabled the evacuation of 1,000 Afghan Allies during the August 2021 NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan. He wrote the book, Operation Pineapple Express, which became a New York Times Best Seller, and chronicled the courage of at-risk Afghans risking everything for freedom and the volunteer efforts of veterans and other volunteers who supported them. 
Scott also authored the #1 International Best Seller, Game Changers, Going Local to Defeat Violent Extremists, a comprehensive work that spells out the Afghanistan community engagement methodology to law enforcement and special operations forces. 
Scott’s newest book, Nobody Is Coming To Save You, it is on pre-order on Amazon and will be released on October 1st!  The Foreward / “Blurb+” is written by Mike Rowe and it is outstanding!
Scott is a small business owner of Rooftop Leadership, leadership coach, and professional storyteller. His non-profit, the Heroes Journey, conducts storytelling workshops for veterans, military family members, and Afghan Veterans to help them find their voice and tell their story in military transition. Scott is also a playwright and actor who wrote and performs, with a military veteran cast, the awardwinning play, Last Out - Elegy of a Green Beret, a theatrical rendition of the Afghan War and the journey from moral injury to moral recovery. 
Scott also founded Operation Pineapple Express Relief, a non-profit 501C3 that provides episodic financial relief to Afghan Allies who are in duress within safe passage and resettlement. 
He has made regular appearances on CNN, Fox News, CBS, NBC, and other major networks. regarding the Afghanistan Withdrawal, Global Terrorism, and Veterans' mental health and moral injury issues

The second half of the episode was dedicated to Amanda and Zach.  Amanda Richard is a Clinical Therapist who offers Equine Therapy for her patients.  She shared the amazing results that has taken place at the Farm.  She has dedicated her life to help those in need.  Her boyfriend Zach fully supports her efforts and he dedicates his knowledge, enthusiasm, and his personal time as a CFF Board Member and Trustee.  Collectively they are helping to change lives and the the world is a better place because of people like Zach & Amanda!

Adam Boyd and is a world-renown, Virally Famous, One-of-a-Kind Builder from Oakland County.   He and his company launched into stardown after building a 2-story playhouse for his daughters.  His project went viral on ABC News, Good Morning America, People Magazine, The Today Show, and on a lot of international shows as well.  It has been A Great Story in the making! 
And now, Spoiled Rotten Homes has over 20+ years of experience in residential contracting, with a specialization in custom deck building, landscape lighting, and interior renovations.

With the Michigan Wolverines winning the National Championship and now with the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship, is there anyone who is more entrenched in Michigan and the Detroit Lions football than Jim Brandstatter!?!?  I don’t think so. Jim was the perfect Special Guest, at the perfect time!  That was so much fun, 2 hours with Jim seemed like 20 minutes!
As you all know, Jim spent 4 years at Michigan, the last 3 playing for Bo Schembechler, he was a Sophomore during that amazing 1969 season.  The Bo stories are incredible.  He then spent 43 years in the Michigan Broadcast booth.  He also, at the same time, called games for the Detroit Lions for 31 years.  His football insight is second to none.  
But did you know that he is from East Lansing, and from a proud MSU Family?  I did not!  
He has written a new book, Voices of Michigan Stadium.  It is available in print and audio.  The audio portion is comprised on actual interviews with Michigan Legends over the years.  It is a must listen for any Michigan Fan!  It is available on his website:  www.jimbrandstatter.com
