Surprise! We are back a week early!
We just couldn’t wait to release this episode. In this week’s episode, we discuss: passive aggressive watches, the AFL grand final in Perth, sunning a certain private area and tangents galore! We also interview the amazing Perth based oral medicine specialist, Dr Amanda Phoon Nguyen.
Here is Amanda’s incredible bio as promised:
Amanda is a Perth Oral medicine specialist, PhD candidate, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, and Consultant at Perth Children’s Hospital. She is passionate about oral medicine, and her professional roles include co-chair of the Australasian Sleep Association Dental Sleep Medicine Council, on the Board of Studies in Oral Medicine, Editor and Examiner of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and Treasurer of Australian Dental Association WA. She represents her specialty at several multidisciplinary meetings and at the Ehlers Danlos Society. Her other roles include Director of a not-for-profit Foundation focused on cancer research, and with Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation. Amanda has received multiple awards and commendations, including a Community Service Grant for her work.  A keen researcher and clinician, she regularly publishes and reviews for renowned journals. Her interests include oral mucosal disease, orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders, dental sleep medicine and paediatric oral medicine.
