GC Collaborative Visit Grace Church

Join us this month as we talk about Colossians 3: 16 and Ephesians 5:18-20. We talk about the differences between Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs as well as how this practically works at Grace Church. From the songs we sing on the weekends to the set lists we pick out for different events.

In this months podcast we talk about the Psalms and how we have been writing songs about God through history. We talk about how our quarterly song list helps us to continue to find new songs to sing in Worship.

This episode is a preview of what we will be talking about this year. We can't wait to dive into scripture and what it has to say about worship. We will be talking about; the psalms, what did worship look like in the old testament, what did Jesus say about worship, what does worship look like in the glimpses we get of heaven. For our last episode before the summer we just wanted to talk about how amazing our volunteers are. Production, music, painters, dancing, film, in all of our areas we have volunteers that are amazing, and we couldn't be more grateful. We want to thank you for the time you put in, the love you have for our community and the passion you show up with every single weekend! Join us as we celebrate the year and some of the things God has done!

On this months podcast we talk behind the scenes and the heart behind our film that will be starting our Easter services. We talk with Renee, our dancer in the film, and Chris Anderson, our film director at Grace, about the heart behind the film. We also get to talk to Renee about the power of dance in worship.

This month we have our Campus Support Production Director Cody VanHoozen and Campus Support Film Director Chris Anderson join us as we talk about a few of our core values as a Worship Arts Team at Grace Church. Join us as we talk about collaboration, caring about the artist more than the art and doing it all out of a heart of worship for God.
