    116: IT'S NOT ONLY A GAME - IT'S JIM SASSEVILLE

    116: IT'S NOT ONLY A GAME - IT'S JIM SASSEVILLE

In episode 116, we take some time to look at the work of Schulz friend and fellow cartoonist Jim Sasseville. From ghosting for the Peanuts comic books to trying to launch his onw strip, where did Sasseville's style match up with Schulz and where did it diverge? Also, what's up with the nude models? (Yep. You read that correctly.)
We've also got This Month in Peanuts History and a "Peanuts by Schulz" episode called "A Clean Sweep".

113: ONE FOR THE TIME CAPSULE

113: ONE FOR THE TIME CAPSULE

In episode 114, we find out that everything we thought we knew about Charles Schulz is a lie.
Ok, Not really. But it turns out despite a reputation for never working with an assistant, there was an exception - the original comic books published in the late fifties and early sixties. Jim Sasseville, Dale Hale and Tony Pocrnick each spent some time writing and drawing these spinoffs from the strip. We'll take a few minutes this episode talking specifically about Dale Hale - his Peanuts work and more.
We've also got This Month in Peanuts History and an episode of "Peanuts by Schulz" called "Birds of a Feather".
Good grief, I don't see how we could possibly stuff any more into this show.
