In this episode of The Marketing Commute, we have a great chat with Jackie Lee-Joe who until recently was the CMO of Netflix. Jackie has had a diverse and very global career in marketing starting here in Sydney at UNSW, then continuing in Europe, the UK and the USA. Jackie kick-started her career with Ansett Australia before moving to Europe with Orange as their Global Head of Brand Experience. Since then, Jackie has worked with Virgin Mobile as the GM of Brand and Acquisition, Skype as the Global Director of Audience Marketing, and then on to CMO of BBC Studios in London. She recently returned to Australia from the US eyeing her next career move.

Melissa Sherry - ANZ Marketing Lead, Henkel Laundry & Home Care
In this episode of The Marketing Commute, we are very excited to welcome Melissa Sherry, leader of ANZ Marketing for Henkel's Laundry and Home Care Division. Melissa graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing. Her career began in Sydney with Arnott's as their in-store Marketing Manager, before having roles with Energizer, GSK and Nestle. Melissa moved to Singapore with Nestle as a Portfolio Marketing Manager for Purina Petcare across Asia, Oceania and Africa. Melissa has since moved back home to Sydney to be in her current position with Henkel, and we think you will enjoy this dive into Melissa's career journey to date.

Mat Hayward - CMO, R.M.Williams
In this episode of The Marketing Commute, we talk to Mat Hayward, Chief Marketing Officer of R.M.Williams. Mat was born in New Zealand before heading across to boarding school in Geelong, then back to study a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management at The University of Otago. Mat started his career in Singapore with Ericsson and continued this global trend by working in Tokyo, the US, Hong Kong, and now Sydney. Mat has worn many hats during his marketing career - as Vice President of Global Marketing with Quiksilver, Consulting Director at Lane Crawford, the Head of Marketing of Deckers Brands (which has brands like UGG), and has even founded his own consulting business, 'A Gentleman’s Opinion'. Mat has been with R.M.Williams since February of 2017 and this is a great chat as the brand ramps up following the acquisition by Tattarang.

Kate Whitney - CMO, Marley Spoon
In this episode of The Marketing Commute, we talk to Kate Whitney, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer of Marley Spoon. Kate graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor’s in Communications, before beginning her career here in Sydney with M&C Saatchi. Since then, Kate has worked as the Head of Brand and Retail Marketing at Foxtel and the General Manager of Marketing at David Jones. In 2017, Kate moved to New York with Pernod Ricard as the Global Director of Digital, before moving back to Sydney in January 2020 to her current role with Marley Spoon.
