Episode 144: The Murder of Amy Boyer
Join Katie and Liz on this week’s episode of True Crime New England as they take a deep dive into the depraved mind of a self-proclaimed infidel whose delusions and obsessions, with the help of an internet search firm, led to the death of a successful young woman. 20-year-old Amy Boyer was shot and killed outside of her workplace in Nashua, New Hampshire in 1999 by an old classmate who had stalked her for years, before he turned the gun on himself. While he would never answer for his crimes in life, he did leave behind a disturbing blog that was filled with details of his stalking and plans to murder the well-loved and bright Amy Boyer.

Join Katie and Liz on the 45th installment of their case profile mini-episode series. This week, Katie starts the episode off with a solved story. She tells the details of the disappearance turned murder of Sherell Pringle, who went missing after a date with her boyfriend in Woburn, Massachusetts in December of 2021. Then, Liz tells the unsolved murder of Dimitri Perry out of Providence, Rhode Island, who was killed after a vehicular chase, all while on the phone with his mother. Episode 143: The Murders of Steven and Jamis Lott
Join Katie and Liz on this week’s episode of True Crime New England as they talk about the story of a whirlwind romance turned obsession turned double homicide. In early 2014, Robin O’Neill fell hard and fast for Steven Lott. Both in their 60s, and living in Townshend, Vermont, the couple moved their relationship along very quickly, moving in together immediately, and getting engaged in July of the same year. However, trouble in paradise started brewing just two months after the engagement, when an old neighbor moved back in, and Robin’s jealousy became a violent obsession.

Episode 142: The Mysterious Death of Sunny Von Bülow
On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz talk about one of the most publicized cases in Rhode Island’s history. Socialite and multimillionaire, Sunny von Bülow, had been married to rich oilman, Claus von Bülow, for quite some time when their marriage began to sour. In December of 1980, Sunny was found unconscious on the floor of her Rhode Island mansion, where she was discovered to be extremely hypothermic. Sunny would then sustain permanent brain damage and remain in a coma for the next 28 years. The only question: what happened? Was this an accident at the hands of Sunny, or was she harmed intentionally?

In this mini-episode, Liz starts off by telling the details of the shooting of LaRay Moore in Connecticut in 2006. His killer remains at large to this day. Then, Katie finishes off the episode by telling the story of Juan Oquenda, who, in 2006, was stabbed to death outside of a Connecticut bar. His murder is also still unsolved to this day.
