Hosted by OASIS’ External Committee and spearheaded by External Director, Hilary Meng, this event was a conversational, live podcast wherein students and external professionals from diverse backgrounds were able to discuss how their privileges and non-privileges affect them in their day-to-day lives. Attendees had the opportunity to contribute to the conversation and listen in on the experiences and insights of OASIS’ invited speakers, Alicia Dubois, Margeaux Wosk, and Jacey Firth-Hagen. The goal of this event was to instigate the first step to move towards equity – through a simple conversation.
