Today our guest is Sue Zake, an associate professor at Kent State University who has over 20 years of experience in Journalism and news-gathering. She helps us gain a perspective on how students can find common ground, and tactics she uses to make sure that she is able to talk to the other side when it comes to politics.

Our next interview was with Michele Ewing and Luke Armour, both professors of Public Relations at Kent State University. They gave us insight into what it's like working with Journalists from the perspective of a Public Relations Professional, and some helpful tips for students looking to join the field.

When you think about civility in America, do you consider it a problem? According to studies done by Weber Shandwick, a majority of Americans do. In 2019, a whopping 68 percent of Americans surveyed agreed that civility was a major problem in America, and 53 percent believe that it will only get worse.

So what’s the point?
