Get Write Shannon McGill

An assignment in 2018 became an ongoing but sporadic project following the experiences of my former city, Fort Smith Arkansas. The first episode tells a little bit about me, as well as introducing a local spot made viral after a Halloween contest's winner (who is protected by the bar and its patrons) impresses our Klan population and disgusts those of us who find the Klan disgusting. It's painful to go back and listen to my voice and inflection but I like knowing that as soon as I felt free to speak, I made myself heard.
