Soul retrieval occurs when parts of your soul are left behind in time and space, either intentionally or unintentionally. Many people use soul retrieval and shadow work interchangeably, but they're different practices: shadow work involves integrating parts of yourself within the self, while soul retrieval is about integrating parts of your energy from different physical locations and times, left outside of the self.
