Our culture, in general, has long encouraged people to go on a journey of self-discovery. People are constantly playing with identity, obsessed with trying to find themselves, define themselves or set themselves apart, trying on one identity or another to see what fits. It’s all a response to the internal longing of our souls, hardwired by our Creator.
