Yazidi cases in the Netherlands: Dutch war crimes unit and public prosecutors office - EP2 S2 Yazidi voices

    • Society & Culture

This episode is the second part of a two part series. In this episode we are speaking with the Dutch war crimes unit(TIM) and the Dutch national public prosecutors office on prosecution and investigation of Dutch ISIS members. This is the first time the war crimes unit and public prosecutors office have done a podcast with an NGO on their work, which we are very proud of.

We discuss the challenges they face in their goal to justice, but also the challenges the Yezidi's are facing in regard to fighting for recognition and justice for the crimes committed in 2014 against the Yazidis.

The Dutch government in that light invites the community to talk to them in order to make these cases a success because they need information and evidence of witnesses and survivors on the role of Dutch ISIS members in such crimes at the time or present. For more information please see the request here: *Trigger warning* This link can contain potentially distressing material https://fb.watch/g4RyIlCB_K/

If you have information on a Dutch ISIS member please reach out to the war crimes unit or if you feel more comfortable reach out to Yazidi Legal Network via our socials or email: info@yazidilegalnetwork.org
