Lisa Hendey founded Catholic Mom in 1999 when she discovered there were few resources for Catholic Moms on the internet. She created a website where she could post activities to help other moms with small children who were looking for resources, too. Eventually, it grew into a kind of crowd-sourced resource, where Lisa invited other moms to share their strategies and resources, and the beautiful Catholic Mom Contributors team was born. Lisa envisioned not just a great place to gather resources and create community, but also a space for Catholic women writers to practice their craft while providing both practical and spiritual resources for moms and families.
 
In 2017, Holy Cross Family Ministries acquired CatholicMom.com, and it gave this beautiful platform a wider audience and a stronger reach to provide spiritual support to Catholic moms and families. You might also see that we have dads and religious sisters and priests writing for us, too. We so very much love and appreciate the 140 Catholic Mom contributors that make up our writing team!
 
Lisa has taken on a new role as Catholic Mom Ambassador, and we thought we’d do a little retrospective as a big thank you to Lisa for first of all, founding this awesome resource, but also, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a true Catholic Mom to us all, walking this faith journey of our vocation as mothers through all the seasons with littles, teenagers and young adults, and for many of us, into the golden age of being grandmothers. Thank you Lisa, and God bless you in your new role!

Beginning with NBC News, Delgado rose from Mexico City Bureau Chief to Latin American Bureau Chief, eventually serving as Senior War Producer/Correspondent. His fearless reporting from conflict zones provided audiences with in-depth insights into critical global situations.
Transitioning to film production, Delgado has made significant contributions as the associate producer of the acclaimed docudrama "Love and Mercy: Purgatory." His role as the producer of "St. Michael—Meet the Angel" further exemplifies his dedication to content with deep spiritual and cultural significance.
Delgado is a committed philanthropist, supporting various charitable initiatives including the magnificent Adoration Chapel at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church that houses the world’s largest Eucharistic Monstrance in Chicago, featured in the film, Jesus Thirsts. His advisory role on the Cause for canonization of Venerable Fulton Sheen highlights his dedication to advancing Sheen's legacy and potential sainthood.

Tim Moriarty, founder of Castletown Media, earned his Master’s degree in Philosophy from Boston College and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Louisiana State University. Tim’s acting career includes roles in popular television shows such as Blue Bloods, House of Cards, and Manifest. As the executive director of Castletown Media, he has produced nearly a dozen Catholic documentary films and TV series. Notable works include The Field Afar: The Life of Fr. Vincent Capodanno, Heart of a Missionary, Enduring Faith: The Story of Native American Catholics, and Mother Teresa: No Greater Love. Tim, alongside his wife Maria, resides in Seattle, WA, with their two children.

Maria Johnson sits down with Liz Lantigua, founder of Good News! Book Fair, a wonderful alternative to the conventional book fairs in schools today. Good News! Book Fair for an Agenda-Free Alternative Good News! Book Fair started in 2014. They are headquartered in Florida with a second distribution center in Ohio and are now a program of Literacy Advocates USA, a nonprofit organization.  Good News! Boof Fair emphasizes how important it is for parents and educators to instill the joy of reading in children and provide fun, wholesome, inspiring books, promoting good entertainment collaborating with Family Theatre Productions and Angel Studios. Good News! Book Fair (GNBF) believes that if we can change the media, we can change the culture. They help parents and educators by curating titles, offering author presentations/book signings, literary programs that make reading fun, fundraising for libraries, and providing a place where anyone can purchase clean reads in an agenda-free environment.
