    A new year brings so many opportunities to reach your fullest potential. The old year is gone – a distant memory, good or bad. So what goals do you want to achieve this year? Do you have a plan for how’ll you’ll get there?

    As long as we live in a (albeit struggling) democracy with most of our freedoms still in tact – we actually do still have the freedom of choice. Yet, the vast majority of the time we blame someone, or some situation, or some institution – not taking responsibility for our own actions – it’s really us – our choices, or unwillingness to choose – that is we blame, for our circumstances. What is one thing you could stop doing right now that would change the circumstances?

    There's a lot of SAD people right now. The holidays are tough on a lot of people. If you’re having a fairly calm, normal holiday time – count your blessings – really. There are so many that are struggling.
    Some people are just SAD, and don’t know why? Is that you? SAD can also stand for – Seasonal Affective Disorder. One of the first best ways to deal with it is to talk about it. If you're feeling sad and overwhelmed, talk to someone. Talking is a great place to start the healing.

    Get alone with God and re-group. Don’t keep sitting with the chaos, holding onto the heartache, and burying the disappointments of this season. Life is hard enough as it is. If we're going to win this war for our souls, we need all of the resources we can get our hands on.
