Then the main prominent rulers of the chola dynasty were Raja Raja one and rajendra one. Raja Raja 1 was a great ruler of cholas his titles were chola martanda , jayangonda, munnadi choladeva. He occupied northern srilanka and also defeated pandyas and cheras. He also defeated kalyani chalukyas when they were interfered in vengi chalukyas war of succession and he also gave his daughter kundavva to vimaladitya so here we have to know the cholas have a marital relationship with vengi chalukyas.after him rajendra I was ascended the throne. He was the worthy son of rajaraja he occupied complete srilanka.and also defeated Kalinga gangu ruler Indraradh and marched his armies towards north and defeated mahipala and got the title gangaigonda and he also defeated sangramavijayottunga varma sailendra ruler of srvijaya and he got the title of kadaramgonda. In later cholas kulottunga I was the great ruler he was the chalukya chola ruler. Last ruler of cholas was RAJENDRA III he was defeated by kakatiyas.
