    Continuity vs. Hypocrisy

    Continuity vs. Hypocrisy

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we discussed living a life of continuity versus hypocrisy.  Are we living a life consistent with our faith whether at church, work, family, or alone; or, are we different people with different groups?  Peter even experienced this conviction.  The scripture reference was Galatians 2:11-14.  Our special guest was Dr. Mikel Del Rosario who teaches apologetics, philosophy, and Bible at Moody Bible Institute.  He writes and hosts a weekly podcast on his site The Apologetics Guy, helping others get answers to tough questions about Christianity and speak courageously about their faith.  Hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew showcast.

    Faith Like Abraham

Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our theme, "Defining Realities of True Faith. True faith trusts God for the impossible and unimaginable - What are you believing God for today? Our Scripture references were Galatians 3:6-9 and Romans 4:16. One person we can look to for the embodiment of true faith is Abraham; he believed and had hope in something that didn't seem hopeful--that God would make him into a great nation. Many of us, though we have saving faith, are drowning in the worries and cares of life. Give your worries back to God and renew your trust in him today. You can hear all the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.

    Powered by the Holy Spirit

    Powered by the Holy Spirit

Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our theme, "Defining Realities of True Faith. Our Scripture reference was Galatians 3:1-6. The Apostle Paul confronts a group of people who had started out by moving in step with the Spirit, but began trying to earn their salvation by their works. Like a boat with its sails up, we allow the wind of the Spirit to move us forward. But sometimes we lower our sails and try to move in our own power. True faith is powered by the Holy Spirit from start to finish. Our special guest today was Pastor James Ford Jr. of Christ Bible Church in Chicago. He is also the host of radio program Treasured Truth. This Saturday is a special 1-day Homiletics Seminar for impacting your ministry! For more information, click here.
