    John Knightly is an independent Scholar and Civil Servant. He has completed a PH.D. on the Godfrey family of Milltown, Co. Kerry and their estate. He has been involved in local history projects in Kerry and is a member of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society and the Irish Georgian Society.
    His essay 'Lixnaw and the Earls of Kerry' was what first drew our attention to the history of Lixnaw back in 2018.

    Episode 1 - Billy Mag Fhloinn is a native of Limerick, Ireland. He holds a PhD in Irish Folklore, and a B.A. in archaeology, from University College Dublin. As well as lecturing and tutoring at university level, he also works in television and media, is a musician and occasionally works as a tour guide in the Dingle Peninsula.
