In fall 2010 Yale Divinity School sponsored an event during the United Nations’ Summit on the Millennium Development Goals for the public release an issue of Reflections magazine devoted to the topic “No More Excuses: Confronting Poverty.” Writers assessed the state of the war on poverty, reflected on the role of religious convictions in addressing the needs of the poor, and offered concrete recommendations on how people of faith can help in efforts to help eradicate poverty.
