Suffering is meant to prepare us for Jesus' second coming.

The responsibility of elders is to shepherd Gods flock.

We must clothe ourselves with humility toward one another and we must humble ourselves so that God may exalt us at the proper time.

The fiery trials of suffering are meant to prepare us for Jesus's second coming. They should not surprise us, they should cause us to rejoice, they prove that we are blessed, and they do not give us license to sin. From this we can draw that we should expect suffering, rejoice in our suffering, and understand the basis for biblical blessing.

Whether you have a -speaking gift- or -serving gift- we must use our spiritual gifts to serve one another with the goal of bringing glory to God.
