It’s an exciting time for the LGBT community in Scotland, as our country becomes the first in the world to introduce LGBTQ+ History into our curriculum, but things are still far from perfect. Join Micky Gavin and Grant Thomson as they talk about their experiences growing up gay in Scotland, talk to some amazing people from the LGBT community, and learn about the history, and future, of Pride in Scotland.

What is Pride?
Growing up gay in Scotland. Micky and Grant reveal their coming out stories, awkward first kisses with girls, and discuss how Pride and the LGBT community has helped them embrace being themselves. In this episode they chat about their first Pride experiences, why they love it, and why it's needed, as well as giving an introduction to LGBT History. Special guests include record producer Colin Bell, plus organizers and hosts from Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh Prides.

Why is Pride needed?

The Future of Pride
A crash course on tribes in the gay community. In our final episode Grant discusses how the LGBT community can face discrimination when seeking healthcare, and celebrates Scotland being the first country in the world to introduce LGBT education into the curriculum. Special guests include Jordan Daly from Time for Inclusive Education, Stuart Duffy from the amazing charity Pink Saltire, and more voices from the LGBT community.
