Middelaldercentret 15th century artisan event with the Company of St George
The Nykobing Middelaldercenter in Denmark has been around since 1980s, recreating a small medieval village. In 2023 the village was inhabitated by more than 100 15th century artisans from the Swiss reenactment group the Company of St George.

Barrington Living History farm, Texas
When Sofia went to the US earlier this year she also had the opportunity to visit Barrington Living history farm in Texas.
Depicting Washington County life in the 1850s, costumed interpreters carrying out everyday farm chores. The antebellum house of Dr. Anson Jones, the last president of the Republic of Texas, has been restored on the grounds. A kitchen, a barn, slave quarters and other outbuildings from the Jones cotton plantation have been reconstructed.

Kampfgruppe Steiner - German ww2 reenactment in the US
Sofia went to the US earlier this year and had the opportunity to meet some interesting groups in the field of recreated history. Kampfgruppe Steiner is portraying a world war II German unit. In this interview we get a short overview of the current ww2-scene in the US, and germans in particular.

Interviews from ReConference 2018, part 2
In November 2018 a conference called ReConference - aiming to examine and develop the reenactment scene - took place in Copenhagen, Denmark with participants from all over the world. We were there talking to reenactors, researchers, museum curators and the organizers.
In this episode we interview viking reenactor Alban Depper - jarl of one of the largest viking societies in Europe, Dmitry Savchenko - jouster, main interest horses in war history, Eugene Leonov - researcher on big data, Martin Lindblad - ww2 reenactor and Jon Iver Helgaker - writer and director for the Netflix tv-show Norsemen.
