YES SHE CAN is brought to you by Women Founders, an organization with the mission to address the gender gap that exists in the realm of entrepreneurship and innovation. We're driven to progress this mission through a three-pronged program of developing aspiring women founders, connecting established women founders and intentionally purchasing from women founded businesses. YES SHE CAN is a space where women founders, at various stages of their entrepreneurial journeys, are invited to discuss a variety of topics to prove that despite the barriers that exist, yes we can.

Yes, Sabrina Tucker-Barrett Can!
Sabrina Tucker-Barrett is the Founder and CEO of Girls for Technology. She sits down with Apoorva Mekala to discuss a variety of topics ranging from nonprofit incorporation, to intersectionality as it applies to entrepreneurship, to what it is like running a business during a global pandemic, and the challenges experienced as a black woman entrepreneur. Sabrina is on a mission to break down the existing barriers in education for historically disadvantaged populations to make a difference in the STEM arena. She has been recognized by the Obama Administration’s White House Council on Women & Girls, The Networks Journals 40 Under 40, 100 Women of Color, and Connecticut Entrepreneurs and the Capital Community College.
