Jordan Katz is a trumpeter, musical director, podcast producer and bluegrass banjo picker in Los Angeles. He and Andy talk about gig life and the need to love either the gig and/or the instrument if you plan on enjoying a life in music.

Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Brian Whelan, joins Andy to talk about his career in music, specifically as a recording session artist. Brian shares stories from his work with Dwight Yoakam, members of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and other notable studio session musicians, as well as thoughts on gigging and networking in Los Angeles and other music cities.
