Elevating your Sales process with Human Behavior with Jeremy Miner

Elevating your Sales process with Human Behavior with Jeremy Miner

In this episode, Jeremy Miner joins me to discuss elevating your sales process using human behavior.

Jeremy Miner is the Founder, and Chairman of 7th Level Communications, the fastest growing sales training firm in the US according to the INC 5000 recent rankings.

Jeremy and his team help companies close more sales in less time by learning how to communicate to today’s cautious, skeptical buyers.

    Specifically, we talk about:

    - Why people ‘fail’ at sales

    - Jeremy’s NEPQ sales formula

    - What goes into persuasion in sales

    - The psychology behind sales

    - Tips to grow an aligned team

    Top 3 Business Challenges:

    1. Teaching my clients how being over-emotional or underwhelming can result in lost sales - be detached and neutral.

    2. Convincing Clients how the best marketing should not feel like marketing!

    3. Helping people understand sales is always about the prospect and never about the salesperson.

Building your Character on Social Media with Lauren Litt

Building your Character on Social Media with Lauren Litt

How do you build your character on social media? My guest, Lauren Litt, joins me in talking about the importance of showing up online.

Lauren is the owner and lead Social Media Manager at Lil Shameless Plug. Lil Shameless Plug is a social media management company dedicated to the curation and creation of quality content for the creative entrepreneur.

Over a decade as an actor, Lauren Litt had many incredibly talented friends, not all of them knew how to promote themselves online. And so, in 2014, Lil Shameless Plug was born. In creating Lil Shameless Plug, her goal was to help creative entrepreneurs build an online web presence to help them find their audience and expand their communities.

    Specifically, we talk about:

How Lauren leverages her career as an actress in her social media business
    The importance of delegation
Creating social media that builds relationships
Knowing your limits in business and the online space

    Top 3 Business Challenges:

Encountering resistance and challenge from prospects who don't understand why they would need Social Media for their business. It's been a process to learn how to help others see just how powerful of a tool Social Media can be.
Being a bit of a control freak and perfectionist - two qualities that make me good at my job because they lend themselves to the small details - has been the biggest challenge to overcome in order to allow myself to grow as a business. Learning how to let go and allow others to do their job, even if it was different from the way I would go about it.
Expanding my Email list of high quality leads as I am focusing more on enrolling for my educational group coaching program, Social Happy. A large majority of my existing list falls into a different demographic than my target audience.

Creating Sustainable Energy and Systems with Christina Asai

Creating Sustainable Energy and Systems with Christina Asai

How do we create sustainable energy and systems when it comes to entrepreneurship?

With so many tasks to do, and creating exceptional client experiences, having systems that support our energy and business growth is so important.

Joining me for this episode is Christina Asai, a Business Coach focused on helping Business owners who know visibility is an inevitable part of doing business online and who desire to do it in a bigger, effective and genuine way.

Leaning into her background as a former sales director and 20,000+ hours of mindfulness practice, Christina is most recognized for her holistic approach to helping business owners overcome mental roadblocks so they can own their unique story.

As a result of working together her clients have landed speaking opportunities, corporate partnerships with companies ranked on Fortune’s ‘Change the World’ List, and podcast appearances as guests in their area of expertise.

    Specifically, we talk about:

    - The power of messy action

    - The building blocks behind bringing your vision to life

    - The importance of having a backup plan and being adaptable

    - How Christina leverages her previous career and experience when it comes to working with clients

    - Why it’s imperative to work with clients that are aligned to you

    - Giving yourself grace and enjoying the journey

    Top 3 Business Challenges:

    - Embracing showing up consistently may look differently for you than it does for other business owners. Not getting caught up in the comparison trap of “Am I doing enough?” Trusting your own process, knowing when to make an intentional effort at maintaining visibility by planning ahead for LIFE.

    - Being too close to your business, what your gifts are and what you are able to do with joy and ease. Remembering to speak to your strengths so that others can see you and allowing yourself to be seen without having to do more to earn it.

    - Finding reliable talent that you can count on to help offload tasks that drain you or eat up a lot of your time. Constantly revisiting how I spend my time, taking a nonjudgmental approach to evaluating myself and my output (being hard on myself for not meeting the deadlines I may set for myself). Ensuring I’m prioritizing time to continue to learn ways to optimize my day, workflow, and systems in my business to keep me growing without compromising on my presence and quality of my services.

S3 Build your Value with Client Relationships with Marina Skendzic

S3 Build your Value with Client Relationships with Marina Skendzic

How do you prioritize your client experience? What is the relationship you want to have with your clients?

In the very first episode of Season 3, I sit down with Marina Skendzic to talk about the importance of a personal brand, how to stay in touch with clients in a significant way, and why it’s important to create an impactful client experience.

Marina is a wife, Realtor, Creative, and Investor. She is passionate about teaching people how to create generational wealth through real estate and financial literacy. In business, she is friendly and approachable, but when it’s time: she is not afraid to “show her teeth” in tough negotiations.

    Specifically, we talk about:

    - The importance of mentorship to help us evolve personally and professionally

    - Tips for building valuable newsletters

    - Creating personal touches that are valuable and matter to clients

    - Marina’s journey with personal branding

    Top 3 Business Challenges:

    - Building systems in order to provide more consistent value (such as email lists, mailing system, having a CRM and actually working out of it, creation of customized buyer/seller guides, etc).

    - Educating clients (on the crazy market, buyer education, interest rates). It can feel like information overload.

    - Dealing with Imposter Syndrome in terms of stepping into her brand persona fully.
