The Book of Failures with Amy Lyle "Living Fearlessly" with Lisa McDonald

    • Entrepreneurship

Personal and/or professional Failure is a subject matter most people prefer to shy away from, and keep at arms length! However, the opposite is true of Amy Lyle, who has comedically allowed one failure after another – to propel her onto the newfound trajectory of momentously merging one successful milestone into another!  A not-to-be-missed show guest on C-Suite Radio / C-Suite Network!! Nothing is easy for Amy Lyle. After being rejected by a Hollywood attorney for representation (he said she was a nobody, knew nobody and had no money) he gave her a piece of advice that changed everything, “Write a book and get some press.” Amy wrote a book about what she knew best, Failures. The Book Of Failures, a funny memoir, has been a bestseller since its release in Humor and Entertainment on Amazon. The book sits amongst her favorite humor writers, Jenny Lawson, Trevor Noah, Samantha Irby, and Jenn Mann and her stand-up comedian idols Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kevin Hart, and Jim Gaffigan to name a few. The book, which reveals some of her most mortifying moments, led to many incredible opportunities including indie film roles that landed Best Comedy and Best Supporting Actor accolades, a regular spot on Atlanta and Company and now, the opportunity to co-host her own show, called In the Burbs.  Amy talks about how allowing yourself to be vulnerable will draw people to you and how humor is the greatest equalizer.
Uplifting you to fear less and to live more!
