Even though Jeremy wanted to start with NXT, Kevin steered him towards AEW Dynamite. Because it’s AEW, your hosts talked about match structure since they continually make the same mistakes. Whether Hook‘s squash match or Harley Cameron getting too much offense against Toni Storm, Jeremy & Kevin know there are always problems. With The Young Bucks firing Christopher Daniels, your hosts talked about the stories surrounding The Elite. With all of the blood on AEW TV, Jeremy & Kevin discuss how nasty Swerve Strickland‘s bleeding was. When your hosts got to NXT, Jeremy had some thoughts from last week’s show he needed to talk about. After a crowd like the one in Lyon France for WWE Backlash, it was an easy kick off topic for Kevin & Shahid. In their opinion, the crowd energy was helped with a shortened card including just five matches. With the introduction of Tanga Loa, Kevin & Shahid talk about how long this Bloodline story line could carry on. Because of the crowd bouncing with Jey Uso, your hosts talk about how much of a star he is. Because Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill are real life X-Men, Kevin & Shahid discuss who on the roster could beat them. Your hosts discuss how Cody Rhodes continues to have great matches, acknowledging that AJ Styles was his opponent. Since the WWE Draft took place on Smackdown & Raw, Jeremy & Kevin broke down their thoughts on it. Even with HHH in charge, they poked numerous holes in the draft process. If you account for the Draft Pools for each show, the order of the picks still did not make sense. With NXT wrestlers only going to the main roster, Jeremy & Kevin wondered why NXT didn’t get supplementary picks. Because of the surprise on the NXT stars’ faces, your hosts talk about the many aspects of WWE that are still Vince McMahon staples. With CM Punk goading Drew McIntyre, Jeremy & Kevin had to talk about it. After praising WWE’s raising the standard of production, your hosts make fun of AEW for reusing the terrible audio of Serena Deeb on Collision.
