Episode 60: Choosing Joy While Living with an Incurable Disease with Beth Schlarmann Heartship Journey

    • Mental Health

My guest today is Beth Schlarmann who shares about living with Reflux Sympathetic Dystrophy, an incurable nerve disease in which she deals with chronic pain. Because of severity of this physically painful disease, it is also known as the suicide disease because approximately 20-25% of those with this disease commit suicide because they are unable to handle the pain.
Beth shares some real honesty about what the last 15 years of living with this disease has resulted in her mental, physical, and social experiences.

What left me in such awe was her attitude in choosing JOY each day she wakes up!

You are sure to be inspired from listening to Beth’s episode!
