She relates part-time politicking to optical and performative allyship and further relates it to the recent killing of and controversy surrounding Ma'Khia Bryant. Aleah urges her listeners to check their allyship, check their homies and check themselves while listening as a means of creating more awareness and ultimately a safer world for Black women.
