We are two college boys that are sick and tired of news outlets pushing their own agenda, so we came up with a nonpartisan and unbiased podcast. We have two different political parties, so that makes the podcast interesting. We will travel the state of South Carolina, talking politics and enjoying beers with our political leaders. Final Conversation with Jacorie & Coleman

Final Conversation with Jacorie & Coleman

In nine weeks, we prove that civility isn’t too far gone. We demonstrated that the other side isn’t our enemy. But we discovered there is a considerable divide in society. We fix it by having the impossible and meaningful conversations!! We are so excited that you guys joined us this season. We decided to step out, and we decided to push the truth. We took a risk to challenge statements and hold our leaders accountable!
One of the biggest things we aim to do is push the importance of not just voting, but how important it is to love your neighbor—that looks or thinks differently than you. This has been a crazy election cycle and a crazy year but who you are, still remain the same.
As we finish this season, we hope we have inspired you to love those and think differently than you. To be careful about our words and learn to disagree without being disagreeable!

    Speaking with Rev. Jesse Jackson

    Speaking with Rev. Jesse Jackson

We sat down with Rev. Jesse Jackson, just a day before the election. Rev. Jackson has been on the fight for civil rights his entire adult life. He marched side by side, with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. When Dr. King was killed, Rev. Jackson was standing right beside him.
After King’s death, Rev. Jackson did not stop, he kept going. He has continued to fight and be a voice for many people across the country. He continues to hold the government accountable.
We sat down with him to talk South Carolina politics because he is from Greenville, South Carolina. He was born and raised in South Carolina. Jackson spoke on the US Senate race, he spoke about why it was so important for you young people to get out and vote for Jamie Harrison. He spoke about what “new” south looks like and how we get there.

Congressional Conversations: Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-1)

Carolina Roll Call: Congressional Conversations with Rep. Nancy Mace
Today, the Carolina Roll Call sat down with State Representative Nancy Mace who is running against Congressman Joe Cunningham in the First Congressional District. This race is extremely interesting because of Joe Cunningham's surprise win in 2018, in which he became the first Democrat to represent the district in 3 decades. Equally interesting is the fact that Nancy Mace would be the first woman to Represent the 1st Congressional District since 1941.

Representative Mace grew up in Charleston and actually dropped out of high school at the age of 17. After dropping out of high school, she worked as a waitress at Waffle House and simultaneously took classes at Trident Tech. After finishing her GED, she went on to become the first woman to graduate from the Citadel. As a single, working mom of two kids, she has started her own business and served in the S.C. House.

We hope you will take a listen and learn more about SC's most competitive congressional race!
