On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors, we have Capt.Tony with a Lake Michigan Report, Then Tim Mondl from the Cook County Forest Preserves will tell us all the cool programs for ages 5 to 105 to come out and have fun. Then Frank Sladek from the Urban Fisheries program with the Illinois DNR will be at Guaranteed Rate Field before the Sox game on Sunday June 9th from 9 to noon with all kinds of activities and hand outs and me!!! We will then have more outdoor information and Aiden’s fishing report in the final segment of the show, and you never know who just might call in.

Then Violet Talley, a very very good angler and doing one heck of a job on the bass tournament scene will come on to talk about her latest tournament at Blarneys Bassmaster on the Chain O Lake in Illinois and how to change with the conditions even in mid tournament.

Then Ty Nielsen and Zack Widelski from Wheaton North High school won the IHSA Bass Fishing Championship against 73 other teams from across the State of Illinois at Carlyle Lake last weekend. On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 5-18-2024 show we are at our live remote on Braidwood Lake for the Fish for A Cure fishing tournament. We have Capt.Tony's Lake Michigan Report, then Logan Kap from Constellation will be there for the Cystic Fibrosis Charity, then Brett Nauman from Constellation who has worked on this event for many years will bring us up to date. We are trying to get over the $900,000 level of all funds raised for the charities in 23 years

Then Tim Mondl from the Forest Preserve District of Cook County about all the cool things going on this month. Then Brett Naumann from Constellation will be on to talk about a charity fishing tournament called Constellation Fish for a Cure on Braidwood Lake in Braidwood Illinois, only one hour away from Chicago near Joliet on May 18th. This charity tournament has raised $836,000 with every penny going to charity and you could win part of $10,000 guaranteed by Constellation Power with fish place getting $4000.00 .
