AND HAVING TO ADMIT TO GUILT FOR WHAT TWITTER CONSIDERS ANYTHING FROM HARASSMENT TO HATE SPEECH - I FIND MYSELF WONDERING IF MY ANCESTORS SERVED IN OPPRESSION IN VAIN. BUT THEN WHEN THE MOST FINANCIALLY ABUNDANT AMONGST US BEGINS TO SPEAK AFTER 2 LONG WINTERS OF SILENCE FROM CELEBRITY - WE FIND THAT EVEN HE IS QUICKLY BLACKED OUT, SHAMED, SILENCED, AND DISEMPOWERED. THAT IS A THREAT. A THREAT TO US ALL AND MAINLY TO BLACK PEOPLE TO LET US KNOW THAT WE WILL NEVER BE FREE AND NEVER HAVE THE RIGHTS FRAMEWORKED IN THE CONSTITUTION NO MATTER HOW LONG WE SERVE THE AGENDA AND HOW MUCH WEALTH WE ACCUMULATE.

A snippet of my reaction to learning that the last known white giraffe was killed by poachers in Kenya. I was dismayed to see the muted reaction from humanity and how casually we hear about incidents such as these and keep right along with our business as usual programming.
